I was looking into old interviews and learned Ouka was actually a character created by the console staff for Miotsukushi which was being written alongside Matsuribayashi and then R07 incorporated that backstory there.I guess that explains why one of the versions of Hanyuu's backstory early in Matsuribayashi's main plot mentions the male Furude "priest" killing her. But afterwards there's a version with her being killed by Ouka and this is repeated again in the last TIP and in Saikoroshi.The story plays it off as there being various versions of Hanyuu's backstory in scrolls, but it's pretty telling aside from that initial exposition scene that mentions the priest the whole "Ouka killing Hanyuu" part is always consistent.
