this episode killed my interest more than spark it. they keep talking about a war but its just a bunch of random faceless guys in robes that I don't care about. The teachers turned out to be nice people. Mimi has no more mystery. I initially thought Sheena was being mistreated because she sucks at magic but that's not the case at all.
I started reading the manga due to this anime, and it's so fucking good. It's so nice seeing characters that can have serious conversations without making every single little disagreement into a huge drama fest, and the character development 7 volumes in is very well paced. Also, the anime seems a lot more action focused, I wonder how long they'll try to keep that up. I just want to see these girls baking more cookies, personally.

The manga implies that resurrection magic is NOT healing magic. Mimi's mother wasn't a healer, she had a much rarer type of magic (the same as Sheena's). The only thing we know about it so far is that It's capable of soothing pain and making people feel better but not actual heal wounds.

Looks like the doomposting that the production was gonna crash and burn was highly exaggerated. It's definitely true there's probably some production issues happening in the background, especially with the Director change, but it's not anywhere close to the Sasakoi situation. The show still looks great so far, even with the occasional use of CG.If anything, it seems they're being TOO ambitious on these episodes sometimes, which could cause issues later, but that means the staff is very much competent and isn't gonna just left the production collapse and ruin their hard work.
