Let's assume there's 30 to 50 people in these threads, counting lurkers. A hatsu using that many people would be obscene. Greed Island was 11 people. All highly skilled, sure, but even people who aren't strong nen users can shoot up the charts via co-op nen, as seen with Halkenburg's ability.

I think people are way off the mark saying he will be fodder for Morena. This batch pretty much set up his betrayal of Kurapika. There is no way he will let Tubeppa (and Woble/Fake Woble) live if it means his regime as king will collapse. He is also going down to the lower decks, where one of the mafioso aligned with him might be able to provide greater, uncensored insight into his Nen beast (and perhaps finally put the coin in the damn slot!). So Zhang might come back to the upper decks with an army of Nen users and a grudge against Kurapika.

A final change would be that genthru sub and bara are not employee's of battera, but hunters who have a genuine passion for greed island. Make it so they target batteras employees and kill them because they feel they are failing to appreciate the game. In reality, the same applies to them with all their metagaming , and gon and killua are the ones actually playing the game right.

Then she says if you know your a specialist off the bat THEN you can chose to create a unique ability that doesnt fit in the other categories, or a ability that is a hybrid which would normally be more difficult to achieve. She never says that the nen users themselves decided what the affinities are. Kurapika himself does this. He didnt do anything to chose 100 in all nen types. But once he learns hes a specialist, (and what his nen affinities are when his eyes are red) he designs a hybrid ability that would normally be impossible to achieve.
