Putting aside the massive thematic problems of going against Ashura's ending I think the worst parts about Ohma's return in the immediate (chapters 51 to 56) are actually that him surviving being kept a secret to Kazzy has no fucking justification and the Koga NTR that kickstarts his complete loss of protagonist role. Ohma's actual survival isn't justified that horribly and it's a lot more down to Worm intervention than Hanafusa bullshit (it happening at all is bad but the how is more logically sound than a lot of other stuff even in Ashura), but those two things most highlight the way it attaches to the story like a tumour and clearly wasn't meant to happen then if at all. Koga learning he was dead off screen, never being shown reacting to it, and only letting the audience know about it when they meet in the hospital is absolutely horrid.
