I know they probably did what they could with the budget considering back-to-back cours, but the fights could have used better animation.

Isn't that pretty normal though? OP1 is usually what the budget gets spent on, and OP2 is usually an afterthought, at least with cours that air back-to-back.Then when the show gets another full series order, the OP of the new series resets to being good again.
