If something like this were to happen at my school the bully would immediately get BTFO specially if the person being bullied had been a cute deaf girl. the most unrealistic plot point about this is that the teachers didn't take notice of the bullying immediately and the kid in question actually ruined or lost a total of 8 hearing aid pieces so the bullying was going for weeks.

Shoya was the worst, sure, but almost the entire class was part of it, including the teacher. Shoya was also the only one who was willing to take responsibility for his actions.
