Today is the final day of submissions! We're singing the OP theme, Ano Mori de Matteru:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGyc1iqgfE8

>deadline?
The current, postponed deadline is at the end of July. This is today. There will not be a deadline extension, but I will accept late submissions until the mix is done (you probably won't get a solo part if you submit late, but I can add you to the chorus/harmonies if you submit those).

>resources?
vocals, instrumental, and lyrics to help you get started: https://files.awaclus.eu/a_sings_yuri_kuma_starter_pack.zip
vocal sheet music (optional to use): https://files.catbox.moe/ip7tk4.pdf
audio guide for harmonies (optional to use): https://files.catbox.moe/pc6gw3.zip

>submission?
e-mail your submission to awaclus@gmail.com or post it in the thread.

To my knowledge, we don't have other ongoing /a/ sings projects at the moment, but the Youkoso Hitori Bocchi /a/ sings was recently finished: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wAJau9Yguw

Also there's a Yuri Kuma Arashi rew/a/tch happening on August 8, see pic for info
>>
We have 8 submissions so far, here's a preview (the mix is nowhere near done yet but the vocals are aligned at least) https://voca.ro/1juHUxmaWR0g

A critical lack of yuri and kuma on this board.

Don't let that keep you from submitting. If necessary, you can do a partial submission, but also nobody's going to hear whether your French pronunciation is perfect when 8+ others are singing it at the same time and everyone is pronouncing it differently.

Go on without me, anons. I have no one to blame but myself.

My main priority right now is finding the energy to go to the grocery store.

I'm going to bed now, the thread might not be here when I wake up so here's an update. I haven't gotten any new submissions today so we're still at 8. If you've submitted but haven't gotten a response from me, it's because I didn't receive the message for some reason, so try submitting via the thread instead.

It is still July for a few more hours in some parts of the world so you can keep submitting. Late submissions are accepted as long as I can include them and still finish the mix by next Saturday.

I've just been sitting butt naked in a hot ass closet for the past 3 hours to try and match the eroticism of the song, figured that being sweaty and raising my heartbeat after doing some exercises would make my moan-singing more believable, but it just sounds like total shit. AND I fucked up some of the lines anyways.
Behold my Magnum Opus, I suffered for your entertainment.

Sniffles anon here
My throat managably scratchy now that I'm full of honey.
I'm still just as shit as pronouncing this. Fug this chorus.

Here's about about half of it without any volume mixing.

I will contribute all the tracks before you wake up somehow and make the deadline despite all odds. For the yurigods.

Is Chorus 3 supposed to be that loud before Zutto? Falcetto like in the example is even lounder.

I'm not super happy with how it turned out, but it's deadline day and I'm falling asleep. The many chopped out shit bits in Audacity were getting too many to manage. Hoping mixing anon overlooks the wonky timing and notes not coming out on point.

Feeling surprisingly good after staying in bed till 1PM with a migraine and all. Singing stuff with friends is the cure.

Bonus half-assed recording to get my frustrations out, as suggested by anon in the last thread:

Flu anon here. If you're out of time but want to contribute, presuming mixing anon is okay with it this late, I would focus anything other than the on the "rap", (which is one fast and long tongue twister that I have no idea how I managed to present at all in one day, still full of errors after constant retakes, most takes pure mumbling jibberish) basically cutting out all the verses for the chorus that is easier to do, and has the potential to really let you sound stellar if you go for it. I spent too much time making the verses listenable when I could have focused on a perfect not flat crescendo. The choir 1/2/3 is also easier, slow and repetitive. You'll be able to get it pretty quickly compared to even the chorus, and the harmonic stuff mixing anon created just makes you sound good. I'm not sure if there have been other choir submissions at all. Best of luck. If you put your heart into it, I'm sure it'll come out in the recording.

>presuming mixing anon is okay with it this late, I would focus anything other than the on the "rap"

Yeah, I am okay with it and I recommend this as well. I'm going to make the rap parts solo parts so most of your rap submission is not going to make it in anyway, and possibly none of it will, especially if I have already assigned the parts to other people by the time I get your submission. But I can just add in the melodic parts and extra vocals (chants and harmonies, plus any shitposting if you feel like it) even when the mix is otherwise almost done.

If I send OP a dozen copies of my part then he'll be forced to make my voice the loudest and be heard over everyone else's part
>>
>>289809629
I remember hearing other /a/ sings do pretty well with duo or even trio parts, which would be a nice way to feature more of each anon's performance throughout the song. But ultimately, you are the mixer here and have the power to DELETE me entirely from the mix if you so wish.

What I've usually done is that while everyone is singing the chorus, I make someone the "lead singer" by mixing them separately and giving everyone the chance to stand out for a moment that way. This is such a small number of submissions though that I might use a different approach here, but in general I like doing a big choir with everyone in it because it feels epic to have everyone sing together and because it just evens out a lot of the problems with crappy mics etc and makes it way easier to get it to sound nice to listen to.
