Personally, I don’t really care if a Black actor plays a white anime character in a live-action adaptation. That’s not a big deal to me.But L in the Hollywood Death Note movie should’ve had that long, messy hair and unhealthy-looking appearance from the anime. Something like Jimi Hendrix’s hair would’ve looked way better.But honestly, that movie was trash anyway. They turned Light Yagami into a complete idiot and basically ruined the character.
