It would matter if you were looking at them against sunlight, but you generally don't want to keep figs in direct sunlight anyway.Bigger problem is that they are brittle so they tend to have transportation problems, though they did change their packaking to solve this problem and it kind of works. My Karen Otosaka was delivered in older style transportation and she came with broken off several fingers, I had to glue them back myself. But newer figs come in parts which allows to put them in a way that wouldn't put strain on them. They are also often taped to piece of cardboard so most fragile parts would be up in air, not touching even bubble wrap. Since those changes I got at most broken hair strand or two.Back when they were like 15-17k JPY it was looked like better deal considering nice coomer designs, but now they are like 22-25k JPY. At that price this kind of quality isn't acceptable. You can throw in just 1-2k JPY more and get quality coomer fig like picrel.
