I was ther was this was new at the time. The Gonzo anime is fustrating to watch. Scenes that were a few manga panels long get stretched to minutes. You know those DBZ memes about characters spending entire episodes powering up. Guys will spend enitre episodes contemplatnig doing something like shooting an enemy. Its so fustrating to watch. Like they were trying to stall for time to sell more dvds or to let the manga actually come out so they have material.

Aside from that, it has that extremely digital anime look that i like. The gore and sexy shit are there in all its glory. had an anime only end that i remember being very disinterested in

The OP is fun. The ED is... pain.

I reread it on 4chan and liked it way more than I did the first time. The ideas are great, the pacing feels urgent, Kurono's development in the second half is solid, and the final arc gets genuinely hype. My only gripe is that Oku keeps throwing in random goofy shit that kills the momentum every now and then, like the vampire stuff.
