Essentially, they're sharing the same power source because it's the same device. This is, of course, taking into the account that Mikuru IS Anna's mom. Point A puts it as 2 power sources: OG Grandma and current timeline Grandma. Point B has Anna drawing experience from Mikuru who drew experience from her grandma.
