Finally finished reading Chainsaw Man. I let the second part of the manga pile up over the years because I wanted to read it all at once. Wow, what a huge disappointment. The ending is basically just Pochita saying, "This isn't working, Denji. Let's go back to a shitty world that at least isn't ending terribly, since you can't stop thinking with your penis."And that's it? Aki is gone. Kishibe is forgotten. Asa's character is completely wasted and Denji is condemned to live a monotonous and unfulfilling life. Where the hell did all those moments of introspection he had during the manga and his "character growth" lead to?
