I do think the bears running was literally just them running in place, but it was a really fast scene so it was masked pretty well. The actual action sequences looked really good imo and the final Eris segment looked good too, I believe it was one of the "star" animators of this season that animated that final duel.

I've watched, read, listened, and played everything. I've bought the merch and i've posted in the threads. I think the anime adaptation up to this point deserves to be called good. I think they still have runway to ruin it with how they handle the upcoming mirai nikki plot. but i don't really seeing it being that bad. I think the anime has been better than its reasonable to hope for in the modern era of slop. In today's episode specifically i really liked the character design of the other members of the amazons. There was basically fuck all depth to their descriptions in the LN. This swordswoman is looks cool and there are a few frames of her looking cute. The large muscle woman and the mage were directly stated to be fucking eachother in the LN and they left that part out and towned down the mages lust for roxxy which i think was fine. I like that they made the mage slightly less annoying and less of a anime trope possessive dyke.
