>>289869050i think sasusaku was always going to happen on popularity alone. naruhina being their sister ship elevated those chances cause combined they both completely overshadowed whatever popularity narusaku had because yes narusaku was actually really loved while the manga was running. the bleach one was completely different cause not only was ichiruki by far the most popular ship, ichihime and renruki were both extremely small in fandom size. but because of the ending, ichihime picked up in popularity but this took about 3 or 4 years when a new generation of fans came in. renruki is still small in size if i had to take a guess (just going on fan content) which is weird cause renji is more popular than orihime or it could be a toshiro case where the popularity isnt seen in fan content despite it existing. also naruhina and sasusaku got a bunch of content after their endings, bleach got what? a renruki wedding novel and ichihime is now getting anime only content but kubo himself hasnt gone out of his way to give the fans anything
