I think it'd be interesting to have Arale and Miyako reconcile quickly next ep and let Arale share her thoughts on the manga with Miyako, giving her a very detailed interpretation clearly full of love for her work that is also not what Miyako had in mind when writing. Because you know, it's a normal thing for a reader to have a different interpretation of a work than the writer intendedSo Miyako knows she has a very dedicated fan in Arale but also a "yeah but SHE understood me better" at the back of her mind.

Arale and Ritsu are aware they have an existential threat but in band practice they just bounce around and force a live and some introductions. Yuno is clued in but doesn't give a single shit. Miyako is the densest dyke alive. It all leads to the sense that there were two completely different writers for the band story and the drama story. Any given scene can be friendly or a gag or a fight and the next scene will never logically follow the same mood.
