Episode 42, "Cherry Blossom Friendship", airs in 1 hour. It's time to learn the truth about Asuka & Kyo.

Episode 42 preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuMykE9ZNcs

Episode 42 synopsis: Tomoro takes Kyo, who wants to see Asuka after a long time, to visit him. On the way to the hospital, Kyo starts talking about memories of Asuka that even Tomoro doesn't know. Hidden within those memories is the secret of Cougarmon's birth.

This week's question: Who gave birth to Cougarmon?

Following the special theatre screening of the Kyo arc (plus today's episode) on Saturday, we have the details of the show's final arc...

The final arc of Beatbreak is titled "Asuka Arc". The arc's tagline is "Seize tomorrow."

There was also some very good news for Digimon as a whole in the week...

...and that is the news that Digimon as a franchise has recorded its highest ever profits in Bandai Namco history: https://gamestalk.net/digimon-ip-record-profit-bandai-namco/

>In an interview published in the issue of Weekly Famitsu for August 20/27 with Bandai Namco Entertainment president Nao Udagawa, she revealed an update regarding how Digimon is doing for Bandai Namco.

>The Digimon brand and its various releases over the last few years had lead to it generating profits exceeding when the anime began its run in [1999].

>It was noted digital games and card games were doing well, although the statement of profit has to do with the brand as a whole, and not specific to those categories.

It's incredible to think Digimon as a franchise is at record highs. It would certainly explain everything we're getting in 2027. Here's to higher STONKS!

EPISODE 43 SYNOPSIS: Tomoro is bewildered by the sudden appearance of Asuka and his partner Digimon. Meanwhile, Kishiwada appears before Apraxas, having been appointed as the new "Planet of Earth" among the Five Stars.
>>
>>290011296
Level - Ultimate (Perfect/Lv 5)
Type - Reptile
Attribute - Data
Special Move
・Soul Pulverizer
・Restrict Eye

Profile:

A Reptile Ultimate Digimon covered in glittering white scales. The white scales covering its body vibrate at an extreme rate when exposed to sunlight. After constricting another Digimon as its prey, Heliosboamon uses these extreme vibrations to break the body down into the smallest pieces of data. This data from the destroyed Digimon is then absorbed through its scales as nourishment. The ornaments Heliosboamon wears on its head, neck and abdomen are made of Gold Digizoid and function as protective armor. Since these ornaments gradually grow larger over time, a Heliosboamon with large ornaments can be said to have survived long-term amongst fierce competition. At a glance, it appears that Heliosboamon has three eyes, however only the one on its forehead is an actual eye. Those on the left and right are simply patterns and do not function as eyes.
The large, ring-shaped accessory on Heliosboamon's neck can generate laser-like blades that spin rapidly. Using its most powerful offensive technique, Soul Pulverizer, Heliosboamon rams into opponents with these blades spinning at high speed. It also possesses Restrict Eye, which allows it to paralyze anyone who meets the gaze of the eye on its forehead. Typically when hunting, it holds its prey in place using Restrict Eye, finishes it off using Soul Pulverizer then constricts the body to break it down and absorb the data.
Due to its scales being most effective when exposed to sunlight, Heliosboamon tends to dislike environments with no light. For this reason, the best strategy when targeted by Heliosboamon is to flee to a dark place that light cannot penetrate.

They're somewhat visually reminiscent of the ring that Habakirimon has (visual motif of the sun) which itself is an homage to Susanoomon's ring.

This is more about which sun will win, Glowing Dawn or World Union? But HeliosBoamon also seems to be going the Yamata-no-Orochi route, even though we already have an Orochimon.

I think HeliosBoamon will become the Demiurge/Yaldabaoth (false god made in the image of a real god (Zeed in this case)), and it wouldn't be the first reference to Gnosticism Wong has (Abraxas)
>>
>>290012866
It could be
I'm just assuming Yamata-no-Orochi because Susanoo was the one to slay it with his Habakiri, and the idea of multiple Digimon combining into one makes me think an eight-headed snake could work.

Unless those scenarios are all completely separate eggs, which they feasibly could be.

This show has been so fucking disappointing with its "dark themes" and "more adult direction". It's essentially a children's show but with adult shit thrown in for shock value. There's so many things that are done poorly like Hotaruko nearly drowning Granit (a traumatized war orphan) that gets forgiven the same episode, the human trafficking never being brought up again, the suicide being used as a cheap plot device.

Now, we have Souji being given the most retardedly vague and nonsensical motivation for his behavior as if him being abused automatically explains everything. Its a very retarded worldview that just simply being abused makes people into killers.

Compare the way that this show handles its mature themes to Tamers or even Survive. I don't feel like I'm watching a cast of real people. I feel like I'm watching the cast of K-On talk about sex trafficking and other "mature" things. The level of sincerity, maturity and ways of handling these mature themes is like night and day. I'm so fucking disappointed in BeatBreak. What sounded like an amazing pageturner of a story continued to get fucking dumber and dumber, with the most cliche and retarded writing decisions imaginable.

I hope that Digimon gets better writers for their shows and now their games because Time Stranger also has some pretty shitty writing. Anyone who supports BB beyond this point is a complete retard.

Gekkomon is a moon-themed Digimon that got born from Tomoro after all and it is really weird how snake-like that mega is. Asuka also gives it the connection to drums

>Souji being given the most retardedly vague and nonsensical motivation for his behavior as if him being abused automatically explains everything. Its a very retarded worldview that just simply being abused makes people into killers.

Souji's abuse caused him to suppress his emotions to such an extent he ended up having no emotions at all, therefore he did not care about anything he was doing. That suppression gave him naturally black e-Pulse, which Klay points out is unique. Souji has no heart, therefore he has no permanent partner. The show does not in any way justify his behaviour because of his childhood.

That's not how serial killers work. Serial killers have serious mental health problems that are compounded by society failing them, and their parents failing them. Souji's backstory does not fit this. He comes across as a spoiled rich kid that was never told no.

That's why his backstory doesn't make any sense. It's a shitty, very Japanese world view that just abuse explains this kind of behavior.

Yoshimura says it was right around the time Tomoro was born (January 2035), and we can tell from the sakura that it was from around March-April 2035. Kyou and Asuka would have been 7 years old. The timing for Maki's flashback is just a plain 15 years ago (~2035), but we aren't given any indicator of the length of time she knew Panjyamon nor the particular month. But Cleaners are introduced as a sanctioned position around this time, and Kyou immediately became one after running away. It would take four years until sometime in 2039 when he was 11 that Cougarmon would evolve into Murasamemon, and he would be offered the position of Five Star.

In late 2045, Kyou (age 17-18) would meet Karina and Minoru. After he throws Souji off a cliff, he returns to the Five Stars, and after a few months being missing, Souji is declared dead and Kyou immediately quits. About 2.5 years later, he meets Reina and Glowing Dawn begins. He would have met Maki around 2046-2048.

I don't think it's playing a major role beyond being a cool flashback mon only lorefags would get the maximum impact from, but I don't know for sure. The staff did admit that the final boss was someone who was revealed by the Kano Island incident flashback episode late in the Tactics arc in a magazine, but that still leaves room for a silly schizo twist like Kishiwada being the avatar for Zeedmilleniummon trying to engineer a new body for itself (thus kind of justifying Wong trying so hard to evolve humanity)
If Zeed is the final boss, I hope it incarnates as a completely original mon at least.

>>290031365
I think that might have been a bit much. The Kagemoris were not a socially intelligent pair of sisters, so I get the manipulation angle. Making Miharu evil would have required her to be a lot older because the Digimon anime doesn't do outright evil child cast members, and obviously that wouldn't have worked well with Tomoro being 15.

>>290031440
I felt there were problems for that arc from the key visual, given we had just exited an arc where all the Glowing Dawn kids contributed in their own ways. Strangely enough I don't feel the same away about this one, even though the key visual is essentially the same. Maybe because it's Asuka and not "mystery turquoise eyed girl". The ending was an absolute dud, and given what we're now seeing of Kishiwada, he really should have been the driver of GIFT instead of Miharu. Use her as the pretty figurehead and then cast her aside when the White Core's revealed.
>>
>>290030930
To be honest seeing how it had no problem kniffing people and deleting digimon later in life I'm not sure he wouldn't end up shooting the orphanage if he stayed there.

>>290029979
Also in an interview one writer said gift members were the people left out by the system but they never really shown it. The arc should probably have used a recuring vilain with a backstory instead of random vilain of the week. Now you mention it, there's a bit right at the end of that episode where Kyo mentions how Tamamori Logistics were taransporting Digimon to the MCP to get them deleted. For some reason the MCP mass-killing Digimon isn't mentioned again in the arc. I would have thought that would play a much more significant role in the story.

Anyway we know the MCP delete digimon since the beggining of the show and sure if you had a digimon partner it would be understandable you want to stop them, or like we know Makoto and Hotaruko needed to abandon their old life because of their digimon. We know the system is fucked but it always was a background noise and never directly adressed. I think the main problem with the gift arc is that they never managed to put all of those thing we know togerther coherently to make GIFT a credible organisation.

>I think the main problem with the gift arc is that they never managed to put all of those thing we know togerther coherently to make GIFT a credible organisation.
Exactly, that's what I was meaning. You make a brilliant point about Makoto and Hotaruko having to abandon their old lives, and while the arc did touch on it at points, it never fully committed to that. We get the Kuonji Industries employee quitting to join GIFT, but the rest felt like random assailants instead of a formal terrorist group.

>so our heroes have to ignore it
They don't ignore it, there is a reason Glowing Dawn don't give the target of their bounty to the MCP and Nirinso exist. But yes they don't directly confront them (I think the only time they confronted Kawarazaki on that was at the end of the Mimicmon episode and it was basically just the rest of Glowing Dawn telling Tomoro to stay quiet and let the MCP take the digimon even if they knew its fate) and it probably was one of the opposition they wanted to have between Tomoro and Miharu but it was never properly explored.

My problem with GG isn't the lack of plot. It's that they teased what looked to be a nice looking Digital World only for it be gone when the plot finally happened.
If it was like BB where there isn't any Digital world at all(seemingly) then I would be fine with GG and might have even called it better than BB(BB is still pretty good and better than Xros Wars(even though I liked the mecha combining) and Frontier for sure). I'd argue its on par or better than Savers.

It's definitely funny to see Kyo/Asuka fans getting a ton of fan service after 41 episodes of shipping them because of vibes. I kind of get why the show waited until after the Kyo arc though. Kyo in the PV for next episode saying that he won't hide any secrets from his family is so satisfying considering how secretive he has been.

>>
>>290036806

>>
>>290037584
I mean, just as an example, characterization of the Digimon is objectively lacking in Beatbreak compared to GG. Like, Chiropmon's profile goes out of its way to mention him as an otaku, but the only episode out of 42 to even remotely touch on this was the one about the Starmon hero show guy. If Chiropmon was on GG, he would have had multiple otaku-themed focus episodes and a couple other scenes of he and Kiyoshiro nerding out. In Beatbreak, he barely speaks and when he does, he's repeating what Makoto just said 90% of the time. Gekkomon is the worst MC partnermon yet when it comes to having no personality beyond "muh food." All three feel like glorified accessories to their tamers most of the time. In GG, Jellymon and Angoramon had lives outside of Kiyo and Ruli (and Gammamon had the excuse of being a baby).
I'm sorry it chaps your ass that the damn dirty episodic show did certain things better than the plotshit of your dreams, but it is what it is. I don't hate Beatbreak, but it just feels very soulless and sterile compared to GG and Appmon. I hope the next series will be better.

For a second I was about to agree with the fact that making every Digimon into a partner was sorta bad because it created character bloat, but then I realized that the real problem was that the GIFT arc should've been tighter and involve the main characters/main story more. Koharu's sister should've been related to the main story with Tomoro's granpa instead of just another random researcher.

Ok, so I have finally watch episode 38-41, Kyo mini arc. Before I give my 2 cents, I want to ask, does anyone have a similar problem that I have? Like when 38 release, I just drop the show before forcing myself to continued. I did it with Ghost Games and Pokémon Horizon and multiple manga, before I started binging. It's a bad habit that I'm trying to stop.

2 cents: I saw a ton of people praising it and yeah, it was pretty good. It gave Kyo nice backstory on why he change his way and why he doesn't delete Digimon anymore. He even murder people too. It's also the reason why he's obsessed with having a family, to help filled the hole in his heart cause by Souji. I missed the other threads so I don't know how people felt about certain things, but I will say that Kyo first family may seem a little weak to some people. Why do I say that? They were in only one episode and seem mainly just exposition. I didn't had that problem though, but I can see others having that. Fun arc, but I do have a problem: Souji

I did not like him at all. The way he was acting, it just gave me Joker (Batman) feeling and I am so tired of that fucking clown.
>COME ON KYO, KILL ME, KILL ME!!!!! DO IT LIKE YOU DID BEFORE!!!
Then they try to show off a hint of his backstory and go, "He was abused as a child, so have pity for him". No, I don't care and I hope he dies.

Anyway, I'm going to watch 42 now and see what's the new arc is all about.
>>
>>290040790
Apocalymon is responsible for a mid movie (Movie 5) and the worst Digimon anything (Tri). He's never gonna be a final boss again. Zeed humiliation happens because of retarded power scalers needing to be humbled, Konaka hating Ryo, and the more mentally defective parts of Ruki's fanbase
>>
>>290044901
>Then they try to show off a hint of his backstory and go, "He was abused as a child, so have pity for him".
No it doesn't. It simply shows what happened, there's no attempt to make you feel sorry for him. That's a failing on your part.
>>
>>290045029
Really, because ton of anime like to show off a character backstory and expanded on it to make you have a sense of pity. Seeing how he's still alive and them EVEN showing that off (when in reality, you didn't have to) make me believe they are going for that route. I could be wrong, but you never know.
>>
>>290044842
>He sucks ass on his own.
Not even close. And he was the perfect villain for a season like Adventure, because he encapsulated the very frustrations and mistakes of the first era of Digimon.
He is literally the embodiment of all failuremons and shitmons that you used to have in your first run of Digimon World, or the v-pets and digivices (if you played those), that's why he was the perfect foil for the Chosen Children which, by defaulf, had perfect partners specifically designed for them and were strong as fuck since their very first stages.
The English dub ruined him because Americans literally lost the main point he was trying to make and only got the tantrums and the shitty food analogies that devolved in the pizza memes we talk about. And that, somehow, even Japanese know, right now.
>>
>>290045102
Watch that sequence back again. There is zero attempt whatsoever to make you feel bad for Souji. It shows the backstory to explain his behaviour, not to empathise with him.
>>

Not that Anon, but I did like the build-up to what was going on with Tactics' true purpose.

>Owners and their Digimon get captured by Tactics' teams
>it's initially revealed the purpose of these captures is to auction off these Owners and Digimon as goods to the elites of society
>what it ACTUALLY turned out to be is those who are unsold (or fail Tactics) end up thrown into a coliseum where if they lose, they are casketed to be food for Proganomon

The problem was how it fumbled on the Black Market Auction episode, especially given the redemptions Team Seven were going to get. I understand the kids had to be super serious given they were on a final warning, but stripping the humanity away from them didn't help. In particular, given what we'd seen with Hotaruko before that in episodes 14 and 17, for her to not have doubts about rounding up adults and their Digimon didn't make sense. The Tactics' reconciliation scene conveniently keeping Team Seven under control also didn't help things.

I kind of get why Tomoro wouldn't have asked before this point. Tomoro wasn't really part of the family in the first 12 episode and really self-absorbed and the next two cour had him deal with the stuff in the Tactics and GIFT arc. In any case, Kyo probably wouldn't have been honest before he gotten his mega because on some level, he didn't fully trust his family to give them the whole truth.
>>
The pacing of the past 5 episodes has been pretty fast to compensate for the GIFT arc for being more of an episodic interlude arc than anything, but if the finale arc pacing is only about as fast as last episode at most, I could see the season ending really well. Not all of the major loose ends have been tied yet, but it feels like last episode managed to tie up most of them when I was pretty unsure if they could address them all by the end of the finale arc just the episode before that. Who the hell is Kishiwada, why are Asuka and Tomoro's e-pulse so special, and why are Wong and Genjo doing the things they're doing are the biggest questions right now, and I could see the series answering all of that, giving both Makoto and Reina a pretty good Mega debut episode each (though they'll probably get theirs together), and a satisfying epilogue with 7 more episodes left. I'm not as sure if we'll get a battle with Kaito (and Raito by extension) much less Honoka, but we'll see.
>>290045981
If Chifuyu's death was early on in the series, it wouldn't have worked but the series has had multiple suicidal side characters up by the end of the third cour with society being just plain awful also being a consistent theme.
>>
>>290048390
>to compensate for the GIFT arc for being more of an episodic interlude arc than anything
There's a certain irony in that statement given the first three episodes of that cour were defined as the Interval Arc.

Assuming BB finishes successfully like you're saying, it'll be really strange how that one arc dragged the show down.
>>
>>290046859
I agree with you, but it won't be the first time in a shonen popular characters get away with horrible things like Orochimaru in Naruto or Frieza in Dragon ball.
>>
>>290049078
It's less "getting away with things" and more "where's the appropriate reaction for these actions".

I still think that episode was poorly balanced for all involved, especially the second half where the focus felt more on Azhdarmon's debut instead of the whole story. But it's Digimon, I'm not surprised a new evolution was prioritised over the story.
>>
Still not seeing a problem with the gift arc unless you're angry about the action scenes.

>>290049836
They couldn't decide whether they wanted Monster of the Week shenanigans or a plot involving GIFT and the writing suffered. Also a surprising amount of anti-climaxes for a show that otherwise knows how to properly deliver on setup. Miharu herself also manages to not shake the status quo in any way. It also hurt Rose's character.
GIFT feels like they just inserted someone Beatbreak fanfic in the middle of the show.

>>290053012
I think they will, but I genuinely don't think that Reina and Makoto should in this setting and by the rules Beatbreak laid out so far. Only Tomoro gets a pass because even if he didn't have the MC card he still has his glitch status, anyone else from the protagonist side would be a bad joke.
>>
>>290053757
I don't even think it's a pacing issue, there's been very little for him to do at all.
>>
>>290053951
>Reina and Makoto don't get Ultimates - get mocked for being no better than Frontier's cheerleaders
>Reina and Makoto get Ultimates - get mocked for breaking the rules of the setting

They can't win
>>
>>290054063
The latter is the better end because Beatbreak's earned mentality is fucking garbage and its why the show is such a mess
>>
>>290048078
I agree with part of your post. The first 12 episodes and the Tactics stuff definitely kept them too busy, but they could have scrapped the Interlude episodes in favor of the Kyo and Asuka flashback.
At that point that he had already proven that he was close enough to his family to get enraged over them, and it's not quite as sensitive as the rest of Kyo's past.
>>290054063
That's on the writer(s) for making them so lackluster. I don't think it would have been too hard to make the more experienced (even if it's only by a few months) cleaners more capable, but I was wrong.

What does this even mean

Kyo has a

>Yandere Stalker
>Guy jealous and obsessed with him
How did he end up with an harem? And why did all of these guys tried to kill him at least once?

Its not like nothing happening is helping this show either. All the "earned" evo stuff did is form a death by a thousand cuts type of jank rather than a goofy trainwreck. Reina and Makoto are lame jobbers who ensure the Five Stars are also lame and pointless.

Tomoro is the Point of View character, but Kyo is the main character of beatbreaker
>>

Unironically true. Kyo feels like the one who actually moves the plot forward, even if Tomoro is supposed to be the special kid.
>>
>>290055365
He is not wrong. Almost every episode until the last one had no real meat and didn't advance the story. Heck, most didn't even expand the world and when it did it left the setting worse than it was (underground coliseum, for example). You can skip from episode 2 to the last three and nothing of value would've been lost

>Almost every episode until the last one had no real meat and didn't advance the story
Nigga
>First arc has Gokuwmon steal Asuka's E-Pulse, and Tomoro joining Glowing Dawn
>Second arc has Klay's downfall which leaves the position open for Kishiwada later down the line
>Third arc, as mid as it was, introduces the White Core and Kishiwada
>Kyo arc has Kishiwada arranging things so that the White Core is filled with negativity
>Final arc is the culmination of everything
>>
>>290056652
Whats so special about Tomoro so far? Before this final arc, he only seemed to have unusually higher e-pulse than other people and thats lt, no special e-pulse like the black one or with strange effects when other digimon but gekkomon, that was born from that e-pulse, eat it, even with GIFT he didnt amount to anything with how the cultist girl wanted him, I suppose this final arc will give him something but still feels like a little too late for it.
>>
>>290057323
You haven't understood anything in the show at all.
>>
>>290057323
Right now he just has an insanely high amount of E-Pulse to the point he can overload technology and Digimon
There's probably another property that will be revealed in the guaranteed flashback episode
>>
>>290056986
Good summary, but I would also include how each arc had depictions of a family. These are pretty shit summaries, but I hope they get the point across:

>Glowing Dawn arc has a family "adopting" a new member after his biological family fell apart
>Tactics arc had a 'family' that was "regime" instead of "relationship"
>GIFT arc had a girl who lost her own family try to create a new one, but it was fuelled by hate, not love
>Kyo arc had an adoptee discover his first 'family' was murdered and had to save his current 'family'
>Asuka arc will presumably bring the adopted and biological families from the first arc together

>>290057370
There's also the ability to enter people's memories, as depicted in episodes 31 and 36. I'm guessing this will play a role in this final arc.
>>
>>290057458
>There's also the ability to enter people's memories
That was straight bullshit and they know it.
>>
>>290057487
I wouldn't say it's bullshit. It shows how much of a freak he is.
>>
>>290056986
>Gokuwmon steal Asuka's E-Pulse
>Tomoro joining Glowing Dawn
Second episode, as I said
>Klay's downfall which leaves the position open for Kishiwada later down the line
Kishiwada joining hasn't meant shit yet. Even if it eventually does, 99.9% of the arc was self contained. Klay didn't even lift a finger until the end of the arc.
>>Third arc, as mid as it was, introduces the White Core and Kishiwada
>Kyo arc has Kishiwada arranging things so that the White Core is filled with negativity
White core is just a shitty excuse to extend the season. Even if you still wanted that plot device, you could delete the gift arc, keep the Kyo arc and nothing would be lost. Kishiwada still gets introduced, as was the white core and it being filled with negativity.

Everything you said is cool and all, but that doesn't factor into something happening. What you mentioned are sideplots. They are cool, tactics specially had fun momments, but they didn't advance the plot at all. In fact the plot of the season is shallow af. Just take a trip to the threads before it started airing and all the theories, promotion and overall digimon info
Tomoro's e-pulse? Nothing came of it. Shangri-la? Nothing came of it. New digiworld server? Nothing came of it. Not-RK? Nothing came of it. New server admin? Nothing came of it. Japense pantheon hype? Nothing came of it. ZeedMilleniumon? Nothing came of it. Tomoro's parets? nothing came of it. And so on.
>It will happen, just wait for it
Not even gonna argue the fans have been defending with that one since the end of the first arc, even if they somehow decided to bring everything into the light now, it would just prove how bad it was because we have 7 episodes left and nothing happened before it.
>>
>>290057884
>Everything you said is cool and all, but that doesn't factor into something happening.
You genuinely understood nothing that I posted. That takes some doing.
>>
>>290057731
Ok, not te white core but how it was used. Happy?
Ignore GIFT and everything needed of the white core would still play out fine because of Kyo arc
>>
>>290057884
>Shangri-la? Nothing came of it
Okay yeah, you DON'T watch the show
>Not-RK, New Server, Japanese Pantheon
These are just theories. Don't tell me you're mad because your speculation didn't become true.
>>
You know, when beat break started I posted some speculation about Tomoro doing edgy shit and moonlighting trying to hunt down cleaners, real cyberpunk shit that would be against the glowing dawn mo but fit his loner and angry personality at the time.
Some retarded started a thread long reply chain seething at my speculation because it would fit into the clearly shambalah based plot and I'd be super pissy about it later.

Now I was wrong. But I genuinely enjoy how beat break has unfolded (minus the gift ark fumbling the last episode). And now it's chinamon fags seething that they aren't getting their shambalah ending.

Funny.
>>
>>290058182
to be fair, early Beatbreak really looked like it was gonna be the Shambala shilling anime
>Came at the time where the third Digital World was revealed
>Main villain is chinese, and Gokuwmon is there
>Gekkomon is the japanese name for Moonlight, and without the context of HeliosBoamon existing it looked like it was going to be the moon counterpart of Amaterasumon
>Murasamemon's evo line referencing Shambala
>From the Savers writer, and in Savers the RKs invaded in the last arc, leading people to think the TH were gonna invade in Beatbreak's last arc
In the end though Beatbreak's a pretty solid show, even without it being the Shambala season

Beatbreak is inspirational media because it proves a single father of 3 girl-failures can still pull mentally ill baddies.
>>
>>290057951
And thats why I mentioned things that actually were on the show and even added "and so on". I also didnt like the theories, but they at least could've been something and the Shambalah stuff was used to hype BB, so it having nothing to do with BB is somewhat a disappointment. Still, too many things in the show didn't actually get discussed or were relevant for most of its run.
Digital world was dropped to have more focus on real world and humans but it still felt underdeveloped.
>>
>>290046859
I think thats what everyone feels about Tactics arc. It doesn't help we really only got one proper GDvsTT fight (one of my favorite in the franchise I might add)

And the things actually in the show are either already developed or are getting answered in the future
I think you're just stupid

>It doesn't help we really only got one proper GDvsTT fight (one of my favorite in the franchise I might add)
If you mean Episode 14, that was brilliant in showcasing how much stronger Team Seven were at that point. Granit and Hotaruko in particular were so superior it left you wondering how the hell Reina and Makoto would defeat them. Talk no jutsu, of course, to save them.

So that's the thread for this week. A good start to the show's final arc, where we FINALLY learned about the origin of Kyo and Asuka's friendship, and also witnessed the birth of Cougarmon.

Unfortunately for one Tomoro Tenma, we also learned that Asuka himself was a Cleaner. With the possessed Asuka and HeliosBoamon wanting his younger brother's freaky e-Pulse to commence The Shangri-La Project, just WHAT will happen this Sunday?!

Seem obvious desu between having the savers writer where everyone hit mega and beyond and they haven't had a series where only certain protags get megas since Frontier(and it fucking sucked). I'm not gonna count Xros Wars cause that series functioned on entirely different evo rules.
