Things are too standard and without real twists or surprises, and none of the characters are interesting enough to tolerate the hassle of reading about sports. It's just like Embers, a generic tutorial on making spokon manga.

Racing on the other hand is so varied that readers are going to have different expectations. For example I’m from a place that is mainly dirt track racing and NASCAR so F1 is pretty foreign to me

I wish this manga success, but the author is playing it too safe for me. Nothing really stands out.F1 can be crazy entertaining because of paddock drama, unhinged personalities, drivers and TPs crashing out, whinging about the rules, pit stop fails, strategy master- or disasterclass... This manga lacks any of it. It's not technically accurate, either. Still, if it gets axed it will make it harder for future mangas about F1/2/3/4 racing to be given a chance by the publishers...
