Seeing as the Yaku zing should be at the end the next week's episode, that means we're going to have a zing three episodes in a row. Fucking insane that that's the kind of pacing we're getting. The only time there have been two subsequent zings across two episodes were episodes 1 and 2, but that actually fit with the pacing of the manga where they needed to set up the series' premise early and effectively. And even then, the Shizuka zing was technically moved forward to fit as the end of episode 2. I've said it before, but the fact that the material that they're adapting is being handled so well actually makes it more frustrating to know that so much is being skipped. This just feels like too much, too fast, with the characters not being given enough room to breathe. It's hard even to be excited about the prospect of my favorite character being adapted when I have every reason to believe that many of her best moments are now guaranteed to be skipped. I'll always have the manga, but it somehow hurts more to know that the adaptation is so high quality, but will inevitably cut so much of what I love that it feels like it's no longer made for me as a fan of the source material. I'll keep watching, and keep enjoying what we're given, but now I'll never be able to not wonder about what could have been. It's a really conflicting feeling as a fan.

It's of Momoha and co, with prominent attention to the rare sight of Yamame getting buttfucked, one of my favorite subjects. If I were to make a critique of Hornfel's art though, I'd say he generally makes all the girls too "smiley", in my opinion. There's a lot more range of faces he could be using during such fun activities that would be more appropriate for the personality type (or more hot as you don't usually see them making such a face). Like he should try doing more embarrassed faces or faces of girls trying hard to hide their pleasure, which would definitively suit tsunderes like Mai, make them grit their teeth with maybe a frustrated look on their faces, eyes rolled back to subtly signal their pleasure. Or just classic expressions like ahe gao, or just plain fucked silly faces. Definitely should incorporate Kimari's shy eye-closed expression while she's getting a pounding, that could work om a variety of different characters too like Kishika.
