This anime is the equivalent of modern art. People insist you’re not complex enough to understand it, but the truth is, they aren’t complex enough to understand that it isn’t complex, it is just a wall with spilled paint on it.Its such a blatantly empty show wrapped in a thin veneer of intellectualism that crumbles the second you look at it for too long. It's only purpose is to make morons feel introspective and deep. It's essentially perfect for your average NPC.Shows like Dungeon Meshi and Edomae Elf all did what Frieren does in less than half the runtime, but it's not as appealing to people because it's not babies first with epic sakuga fights.
