You have the awesome and extremely powerful sword kajakut, and your far less impressive and outright lame-looking north god style skills. The more you level up kajakut, the stronger its abilities, like granting flight, paralyzing hordes of enemies in gravity bombs, outright insta-killing enemies with singularities, and other awesome stuff. Whereas leveling up the north god style tree only grants mundane stuff like slightly improved evasion chances, better feints and hiding skills. And it should take way much longer to gain progression points in the north god style, so that players will be incentivized to level up the way better sword itself. The final boss of the main game will be the sword saint that steals your sword and uses all the abilities you unlocked for it. The paid DLC is then him as Sandor, the Golden Knight of Asura and his new apprentice Dohga, helping the mage Rudeus Greyrat. The final boss of said DLC is Fighting God Badigadi, followed by Fighting God-enhanced True North God Kalman III (who has unlocked even more skills for Kajakut). Both boss fights are more about trying to survive long enough than defeating those two, until Rudeus in Mark Zero or Orsted can save the day.
