I've been slow at it, but I broke after one episode when the anime premiered and just finished volume 6 of the LN. The biggest weakness of this series is definitely the male cast. Both leads feel totally vestigial that it the romantic subplots drag it down constantly. I never appreciated the men in the other joshimuke mysteries before now but lacking them makes me realize how important it is to have them.
