This is one of the best episodes of the show that wasn't some large setpiece. It's obviously easy to say the tower, the race, or the finale were top teir, but these inbetween episodes that span multiple characters also have the same amount of love and effort put into them. I liked every single story this time

I love the way his mustache flaps in the wind>followed my matsuri and nagumo trying to cheer him out out of his slump because his fried rice was just averageLmao. Love this outfit on matsuri, she's so fucking cute

Personally, I have developed a habit of staying up until 5am, eating breakfast, then going to sleep until noon. Shameful. But it is what it is

>>290236326>So it's an Iyashikei?I wouldn't say that. But there are some scenes where I think it could almost be considered one. The show is willing to just slow way down and take its time, at times. And I do think the show leans more into "fun" than "funny", even though I found many parts of it quite funny. But they set out to do a "joyful world" in a sea of joylessness that is most of the industry of late. They were not trying to be another Nichijou with its frantic pace of non-stop jokes. They were trying to go for a fun and cute show that would make people happy.
