I'm 4 episodes in and I honestly can't get into this shit. I am almost positive it is possible to do a faithful adaptation of the manga and not have it be this poorly paced and thought out.SAC really understood the absolutely retarded amount of information that has to be conveyed to the viewer with GiTS. There's the technology, the geopolitics, the civilian culture, the characters and their back stories and relationships, the philosophical musings, the actual main plot and villain, etc.SAC could recognize that it was best to just pick one of those things and dedicate an episode to it then rotate around. If they're doing an episode set in a robot factory the whole episode would be about exploring how cyborgs work in GiTS, who's allowed to make them, how they're policed, how often advancements are made, etc. If they're doing an episode on a terrorist group the whole episode is about them and their motives and politics and how Japan fits into it, what the rest of the world thinks of them, etc. With this show each episode is just all of this shit thrown together at the same time so it's not only difficult to follow (and this is as someone who knows the fucking universe already which is insane) but it's also absurdly shallow.Oh there's a terrorist group? What are their motives? Oh they're greedy and want to make money? Alright. Oh there's a robot factory owner? What's his deal? Oh he's also just greedy and evil and wants to kill people for no reason? Okay.I swear SAC had these same beats but they had like 100x the depth to them. Because each episode had a focus and could go deep into it. There's no focus with this show and so everything is kept as shallow as possible because there's no time to go into anything. At least the action is good.
Hello, Science SARU here. We have received your feedback and will change future episodes accordingly. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Is that the reply you were hoping for, faggot? Nobody cares.

SAC "worked" for you because nothing in SAC happens in the manga, it's entirely original content reusing the world and characters. If you like SAC but not the "new" series you don't like GitS, you like the fanfiction about it. Which is fine, but just saying.

>>290255779Sorry anon, you can't have an honest opinion about GiTS around SEA hours. Only goon and scripted praising are allowed.
Kill yourselves, tourists.
