The next issue, whenever it comes out, might be Shamiko reconciling with Momo in that she wants to protect her from Suika. Shamiko might see her self as weak when the rest of the crew doesn't see it that way (instead the force they are dealing with being exceptionally strong). I'm sure there will also be some lore drops going on with whats going on with Suika and some of the other mysteries of the Dark Bureau that seem to be kept from Shamiko and the reader.

The EOS was brought on by the game no longer meeting the game companies financial expectations- there was no consideration for the advertising value for Kirara/Hobunsha. Hobunsha was told that if they wanted to keep the game going they would have to pay the difference to the game companies profit expectation. So Hobunsha/Kirara got their IPs exploited for very little gain for them while the game producer simply rolled up shop and looked for another mark to fleece. The production staff for the initial roll out of KF were all transferred to other projects by the end of the first year-to keep new contracts coming in- rather than following up on KFs initial success.

The inability to deliver Bocchi S2- after they announced it publicly- was apparently the last straw. FuRyu- who was part of both the YuruCamp and Bocchi production comitties- and Hobunsha have gone in and created FuRyu Pictures Studio as a expansion of the FuRyu Productions that has been producing anime for several years. This time they will actually draw the animation themselves. The first product is YuruCamp Season 4. It has not yet been announced but I suspect that after it will be- finally- Bocchi S2.FuRyu also makes video games so maybe a KF revival is possible.
