The whole cast are jobbers, ichigo jobs in the manga but everyone is worse. Ichigo is a jobber in the last arc but so was everyone else in the last arc. The anime only content gave something to the side cast but Ichigo still has like 10x anime only wins over them over the stretch of 16 years of Bleach material.

Byakuya's character continues to develop past his arc. Most characters in the story fight random jobbers. Almost nobody is allowed to fight the main villain, and only the villain matters because the villain can solo the enemy camp. Not sure how that's a dig on anything.

Komamura is one of Kubo's better characters.

Would have been an absolutely fucking incredible send-off to his character had Kubo not be a tremendous fucking pussy and immediately walked back his death after spending multiple chapters hammering home that he was beyond saving. Byakuya is one of only a handful of characters in Bleach who had a truly meaningful, well-written character arc. Absolutely tragic that Kubo failed to stick the landing.

Komamura actually got this arc and look what happened to him. Whether Byakuya survives or not has no impact on the story. It only hjs impact for himself. Which isn't much, but tbf, fucking everyone blows. No idea why he's being specified when the most useless character in TYBW was Kenpachi.
