>>290354209im pretty sure soichiro IS supposed to be less exciting of an MC. in a raiden from MGS type of way. after all his whole deal is that he lacks any sort of agency in his life and is just being led down the same tragic path no matter his choices. engaging with him in that way is what makes me enjoy him. in general i've just never had many complaints about soichiro because the cast is more of an ensemble anyways, his screentime and focus, and that of the other characters are pretty well balanced
