What are the best anime designed specifically for two to five year olds?
>>290354084Boku no Pico, hands down. Your kids are going to love it.
>>290354205That's not for toddlers you dipshit.
>>290354251Sure it is. Just put it on for them.
>>290354084Pokemon starts out cool, gets really boring halfway through Johto, makes a great comeback in XYZ and then completely loses all momentum trying to chase the Yokai Watch 5 minute trend, then they changed Ash for Liko and it's the same boring shit but even worse.Digimon Adventure is great, not awesome but great, 02 is a colossal step down, the series peaks with Tamers then dives off a cliff with Frontier, Savers valiantly tries to save the sinking ship but then two entire fucking seasons of Xros Wars, Tri, Appmon, Ghost Game, 2020 and whatever the fuck is happening now become the nails in the franchise's coffin.Zoids Chaotic Century was amazing, Guardian Force was ok, New Century was fun but the total genre change came straight from left field, Fuzors almost killed the franchise, Genesis tried to recapture the essence of Chaotic Century but mostly failed and Wild was the death sentence.Ojamajo Doremi was surprisingly good from start to finish, but the slice of life tone may put actual kids off.
>>290354084Is One Piece one of the best ones? What about Hamtaro? Sailor Moon?
>>290354084Sherlock Hound!
>>290355415I liked Hamtaro, One Piece sucks dick.Sailor Moon is a difficult beast to tackle, the 90s anime is very soulful, the relationships between the girls are cute and the animation, while limited, does a good job, but it botches both the love interest and the daughter to insufferable levels, the story gets really boring and repetitive and 75% of it is filler.Crystal properly adapts the manga with zero filler, gets Tuxedo Mask and Chibiusa even better than the manga and makes the escalation of stakes between arcs much more epic, but holy shit the first two seasons look like someone drew them with their feet, the third gets really pretty and then the Eternal and Cosmos movies trade it all in just to be a poor imitation of the 90s show.
>>290355603What are some other really good or great of amazing children's anime?
Anime isn't exactly for, shall we say, us Americans (unless we're willing to go full kanji, take 2 martial arts, and an endurance test from the CIA)
>>290354084Chiikawa
>>290355603>Crystalis for teens and not preschoolers like the 90’s anime is.
>>290354084Doraemon and One Piece are 2-5 year olds.Digimon Adventure is more 8-10
If you want a recommendation you can watch with your kids, check out Oreimo. It's a super wholesome story about two siblings repairing their fractured relationship. The kind of thing that imparts positive values that even children can appreciate. Definitely the kind of thing you can enjoy with the whole family. When they're a little older, give Yosuga no Sora a try. The themes are a little more mature, but it's still something kids can enjoy.
