His sword is just a simple razorblade rectangle- there is no refinement or sophistication or anything that would make you think this is an improvement or evolved from his previous forms. Even If It's a false-bankai, you could see something of Ichigo distinct and reflected in his previous false bankai.... but the sword is just overly plain & simple with nothing that suggests his soul is imprinted on it or manifest in It other than the three colors schemes. Kindergartens could have drawn this sword. Bankai is supposed to be your soul manifest.... wtf does flaming chains have to do with Ichigo? I don't mind chains somehow being incorporated into his power because his first bankai manifested a chain on the hilt... but this feel so random and out of place and again the design of the chains is so simple and unrefined. It's almost like they were added to give some flair to overcompensate for how poorly executed the rest of his design is..... And then the powers & function of his bankai? Shadow doppelgangers, stats boost, and defensive chains that seems to materialize out of nowhere... -stats boost, granted I could see that being a valid powerup if it's shown to actually make a significant difference.... but the rest.... what does any of that have to do with ichigo's soul manifest? What does any of that has to do with his personality or characteristics? His speed, power, and getsuga tensho being upgraded is the only thing we get from this that makes some kind of sense. Almost every other character you can think of that has a bankai, there is no question in your mind that that power and that aesthetic is literally them on the outside- you can see the way evidence and evolution to a superior form, or something that connects to them... this just feels haphazardly thrown together with no basis. WTF is this
