I am going through this manga for the first time, I’ve ready many a good manga throughout my years and this is one I just kept putting off. I just finished Yorknew, at the very beginning stages of Greed Island. This shit is fucking excellent, every page is rich and made with love, simple as. The characters and world feel so completely real and lived in. It kind of retroactively makes some other shonen look a lot shittier in comparison, Naruto for instance just did not hold up all that much upon rereading, especially compared to this. It hasn’t topped the likes of Jojo, apocalypse zero, kaiji or usogui for me personally yet but it has the potential. Pic related had me smiling ear to ear
