It does not have to be the most popular show on MAL or anything, just something that was truly special and you think is worthy of a mention on this thread.
And please make sure that it is from between the late 2000s (2000s as in naughts, not the century) and early 2010s since I believe that is when anime peaked in terms of story, visuals, and 'soul' (the feels it made you feel).
You may discuss the source material of an 2007-2013 anime if the discussion naturally leads to that from discussing the anime released during 2007 to 2013, but please ensure that the discussion focuses on anime.

I personally think that anime crossed over from being a physical medium to a near-religious experience between 2009 to 2012, but maybe that was just autism.

But to tell you the truth, I wanted to capture the attention of zoomers to this thread to increase its chances of being bumped, since they now make up the majority of this board's traffic whether you like it or not.
