She is retroactively summoned to make it possible for him to return and otherwise assist him. The reason this is possible is because of time looping, her boyfriend has actually already been summoned, failed, and been killed dozens/hundreds of times at this point. The 'blessed child' with the time looping power (who also falls in love with her BF) can't take it anymore and on the loop just before this one, uses up all of her power to summon additional isekaijins to assist him in his task. This is how Nanahoshi enters the six sided world, Rudy's soul being sucked in was actually an accident, it just happened to be near the rift when it opened since he had recently died, kind of like what happens when you open a drain on a sink or a bathtub. Consequently, this is also the 'final' loop. This is also totally separate from another thing you might've been spoiled on, Orsted's looping ability. I don't think he even knows about the Playback Miko. Don't worry if this doesn't really make sense, it's all contained in the epilogue to the LN story and is meant to raise more questions than answers going into the eventual sequel series.
