Well yeah, 9/10 is a pretty good rating.

I only watch 10/10 anime.

I enjoy 10/10 anime I watch because I'm extremely picky

Anime appeals to autists because it tends to lack all subtlety in emotional expression

Out of the 106 anime I've started, I've completed 69, put on hold 20, dropped 12, and am currently watching 5.
That means I didn't like about 11%
I liked enough to finish about 65%
And I liked enough to consider finishing someday about 19%
My total percentage of non-dropped shows is about 89%, so I guess I'm pretty similar.

Back when I actively watched anime, I did too, probably even like 9.8/10
I know what I like, so I only pick things that I know I will like. I don't understand the need for this 3 episode rule people have because why would I need 3 episodes to find out if I like it or not? I'm either gonna hate it on ep1, or I'm gonna like it all the way. Because of this I also have an incredibly small amount of dropped shows.
I don't like romance or horror anime so obviously I'm just not gonna download them. It's that easy to avoid things you wouldn't enjoy.
