I know /a/ hates when I mention the Dandadan subreddit, but it blows my mind how the average poster over there is like a completely media illiterate teenager. There was threads/posts literally three days ago there where r/dandadan regulars were claiming that Okarun had no hidden power and that the club functioning the way it did was likely the result of latent Turbograndma powers. Why would a regular Dandadan reader doubt that Okarun was hiding some hidden power/manifestation of all things? It was always clear there was something different about Okarun all the way from the first few chapters. Then CSG basically spelled it out the last time he was talking with Vlad. And we had the entire Manjiro training misdirect to realize that the club belongs to Okarun for a reason. Just unbelievable that people thought Tatsu was going to make Ken, of all the characters in the series, perpetually normal.

I'm still not sure if the Ogre Club was a gift from Fakejiro. Assuming it was Shinobi, I can't tell if it lines up, time-wise: after all, he showed up after the fight with Hase and the Xenomorph chick, and spent a while with the gang to make sure they're all right. So if that WAS Shinobi, she'd need a way to get to Shimane in time to steal Zuma and Momo's powers.Manjiro also explained how he and Mommy Queen know each other (hard to say if the Paladins would care to know that information, and therefore if Shinobi would know it) and explained what the Exorcist community know about the power-stealers, which you could argue wasn't in the best interest of the Paladins. Although you could also argue that being nebulous about the thread would only serve to confuse the Gang.For now we can safely assume that the Manjiro that "trained" Okarun since then was an imposter, wasting Okarun's time with chores instead of training his chi and keeping tabs on the kids to find the perfect moment to strike (for example, their group date he might have mentioned), especially since it happened once Okarun showed him how big his Schwartz has gotten.
