Their plan is to dominate the bridge and blocking Oarai.>Crusaders accelerate and take the lead to the bridge(can be seen in trailer)>However Oarai was already preparing for a firefight, and when the Crusaders arrive they face Oarai's prepared attack.>Crusaders cannot breakthrough due to their lack of firepower and armor. Oarai is overwhelming the Crusaders.>Darjeeling was already aware of this. She had put Arisu on the other side of the port for fire support. Arisu starts attacking Oarai's flank.>Pekoe also heads to support on her own, and as she arrives on a concrete bridge, she gives fire support and shoots through the wall.>Oarai is exposed, and soon after the infantry tanks lead by Darjeeling are arriving. Oarai retreats.
>Oarai starts heading to the wide highway near the docks while Miho plans their next move.>However Gloriana sent Crusaders from the opposite sides, fiercely charging while firing.>Shots are fired. Anteater team bounces a shell. Miho orders sharks to distract the Crusaders, then commands all high caliber guns to fire at the escape wall, and a breach is made.>Duck team throws multiple smoke grenades and Oarai tanks start the escape, momente before Darjeeling's churchill jumped over the wall to end it.>Hetzer escapes last and engages the chase.>Crusaders actively chase Oarai's tanks at first, but abort chase and change target to the Hetzer. Darjeeling orders her subordinates to exterminate the hetzer first before moving since they got the upper hand still.>Yuzu does the most insane maneuvers in her life.>Dogfight between Crusaders and Hetzer>Oarai's remaining tanks escape containment but without the big loss(like the real Falaise Pocket) thanks to Momo's idea.>Momo decides to end everything with her hand here. She asks Anzu to switch seats, and Anzu agrees.>Momo becomes the gunner once again since that summer.>Momo orders Yuzu to charge towards Darjeeling at full speed. Yuzu does it.>Darjeeling sees the Hetzer approaching dangerously fast, deflecting shells with the good front arc.>Momo's plan was to defeat Darjeeling with her own hands by any means(since the hetzer isnt the flag tank) ending the disadvantaged match, saving her team AND scholarship herself.>Anzu loads the AP. Momo aims the gun. Chicken match starts.>Momo fires the shell precisely at a close range.(under 200 yards)>Shell actually had normal trajectory. Slow motion>A loud bang is heard. The rest of Oarai, who evacuated to a distant bridge, are trying to determine what is going on there .>Momo actually landed a Hit! Not a lucky shot this time>....but the churchill was not hit
>Rosehip's tank intervened and took the shot before. same yet different situation as der film>Rosehip, who was feeling insecure with Arisu and Pekoe, who got scolded before moments ago for falling for bait and risking her squad, decided she'll protect Darjeeling after hearing a distress from the radio.>Rosehip Sacrificed herself to save Darjeeling. Darjeeling thanks her and Rosehip cries.>Momo is furious and crying. Anzu orders immediate retreat.>Momo apologizes to the team for letting everyone down. Miho says they're thankful she's okay and tells her to return to the evacuation point.>The hetzer reaches the point, however gets ambushed and is destroyed.>either Darjeeling, Arisu, or even Pekoe landed the kill.>A lot of audiences are shocked, even Maho and Shiho.>Miho sees the danger and orders for retreat again while suppressing her emotions.>Everyone at Oarai are emotional after Momo's sacrifice and sudden defeat.>Miho and Azusa bow for vengeance.>Momo is crying, Anzu and Yuzu try to comfort her, but she says it's happy rather than sad tears.>Even if she failed the big chance, she is happy the rest of her team are safe, and wishes good luck.>Darjeeling says a proverb regarding the fallen, but says victory is theirs and Oarai will lose, then orders the remaining tanks to proceed phase 2.>end of df5.Summary:Beginning references Operation Market Garden. Climax references Falaise Pocket.Turtle team is soloing the Crusaders in an active chaseMomo will switch seats with Anzu mid battle and shoot at something.Momo may get nothing much but still an acceptable closure that will be both poetic and coherent.Turtle team may end up becoming the first KO of the team, but with their effort contributing to Oarai victory later.Gloriana may lose Rosehip first. Rosehip was mentioned during the mllsd talkshow by Seiyuus, and is going to be in trouble/drama.
