Magic in itself is just nanomachine manipulation, hence overusing magic can kill the user and fat people have more magic (because they have more nanomachines). The successor races are unable to question some obvious things nor develop certain technologies because they were given instictual fear to think "forbidden knowledge", but those mental blocks can be cleared if someone conquers a dungeon. Conquering a dungeon grants that person the dungeon, lift part of the mental block and an AI that answers some questions and if one wants to know more, they have to conquer more dungeons or steal other dungeons. MC goal is to get the full truth just for fun so she has to conquer every dungoen in the world and steal other dungeons even if it means world conquest because the royal family of the strongest nations inherited a dungeon (MC is even suspecting that she wasn't actually reincarnated and instead given fake memories as part of humanity's plan to revive their species.).

Reverse Isekai, Portal Fantasy, Native Isekai, Time-travel Isekai. It'd fall under one of those or similar subtypes. At that point it has to be judged on case by case basis. Is alice in wonderland an isekai, is anything where whole plot happens in a dream or any of the "i shrunk our kids" type scenarios an isekai. It's not that easy to set a strict boundary.
