That was a solid movie. Everything about this arc deserved the big screen upgrade treatment, though obviously you see some gags and all that where you think "these work for the usual 1 minute episodes", which is natural, which to me just tells me that this truly is Chiikawa the movie.Are you on the camp that the villagers are the true villains or Siren was? Honestly I'm glad that they decided to hold this debate up a bit by NOT having them try to murder Chiikawa for finding out their secret and just fucking off into the horizon, even if they did so a bit too late. A different tale would do just that, and considering that Chiikawa goes through a lot of mortal danger, I'm sure nagano was considering this.
