Bach's decisions from chapter to chapter in the manga didn't even line up with each other, and this was most egregious in the final stretch of chapters. Kubo wrote himself into a corner for defeating both Aizen and Bach, but Aizen was superior to Bach, and there wasn't the baggage of him already being defeated in the past and only standing a chance because everyone is supposedly a pussy now (which didn't line up with even the previous arc).
