saw this discussion just about everywhere but bandori's pacing in the animes has always been kinda wonky but i think the quick "heres the plot heres what everyones thinking okay? okay" kinda thing works so much better in ymmt and s2/s3one thing i really really hated about ave mujica is that they'd spend an unreasonable amount of time repeating information (ie: nyamu wanting fame, mutsumi being a system and mortis hating sakiko, sakiko hating herself, honestly crychic as a whole shouldve died faster) and when we were presented with new (seemingly important) information, it was glossed over (nyamortis/nyamutsu, umiri, kinda uika too actually) so its nice to just Have the information necessary to keep the plot coherent instead of like 30 subplots that didnt end up mattering lol
