Beatbreak is dreadful.

>Digimon aren't the focus
Focused on the lives uninteresting humans
>Plot points go nowhere
wtf happened to the human trafficing arc? What about the gated city? Why would someone get kicked out of the glass city for having a Digimon when they are major assets.?
Digimon themselves aren't characters with backstories.
>Any normie can have a Digimon
Some dumb bitch dumped her Digimon for a lover. No chosen child, tamer, etc would haver do that.

>Boring run of the mill normie characters without intrigue or interest
>Digimon who were their own characters with backstories reduced to supplements of dull human characters.
Apollomon when from a tragic villian in Xros Wars to a supplement of an antagonist red oni in beatbreak
>Monster of the week saga lasted for more than 30 episodes
>we are near end and hardly anything has happened
>12 episodes till an adult evolution from our protagonist
When in the past the latest the main character's partner evolved was eight episodes; however it's usually in the first two episodes on average.
Main characters suck
>A blue oni without a supplement red.
>Sundere bitch
>Basically a cardboard box
>Kyo is a alright, but he's not the main character.
>No Kyūkyokutai till the last couple of episode.
