I happened to re-read Genshiken a few months back after a random thread about Spotted Flower finally got me to read thru it to complain about it properly in thread. i said earlier in the thread that yama no susume was my favorite manga. and this is true to a degree.. though ive just started re-reading ichigo mashimaro in jap, and it's as beautiful as ever. the art may turn to shit in the most recent volumes, but the earlier chapters are genius in my opinion. i could go into detail about specific things, like how well the characterization is done in the first chapter. it really sets up the comedy for the rest of the manga in a really organic way.
