>>290610381I've watched Himote house a few times but I was only really paying attention the first time, it was background noise after that, chosen because I was at my parents place and they had amazon prime on their TV and I wanted to semi relax watching something without actually watching, the service no longer seems to have it thoughI've seen Akira twice but only because the second time was a chance to see it in the cinemaI watched both dragon ball Z and Dragon Ball Z abridged if that counts, and I recently started on somebodies attempt at a pre z abridged, I feel like it's not joke dense enough but as I understand it it gets better with timeI might watch the compilation movies for madoka + rebelion for a quick recap of the story before the new movie, or maybe just rebelion, I remember the show pretty well but rebelion I think I barely understood at the timeI started on gundam with the first recap movie but then I changed my mind and went back to do it properlygundam seed I was doing recap movies because I was rushing to try and catch up to be able to see the new one in the cinema, but even then I never actually got it done in time so I fucked myself over and will probably eventually do it as TVbut I suppose really nothing of what I just said comes under "worth" rewatching, I have been considering rewatching a few old shows that I originally watched as a dubshitter but those are both shows that are considered to have some of the least bad dubs to begin with (panty and stocking and space dandy)

And the first half has a different perspective when you already know the twist making a rewatch more worthwhile. Devilman Crybaby is great. Really great!. but too sad to rewatch.

If it's not worth watching twice it's not worth watching once.
I dunno. Ive seen plenty of anime that didnt jive with me the first time seeing it. But ended up enjoying it the 2nd or 3rd time around. Sometimes your are just not in the mood when you think you are. Or god forbid you have work the next day and you are super critical of the time spent the evening before. Or sometimes shit is so over your head or confusing, it needs a rewatch. Recently observed this with some older animes like Celestial Method and Sasami-san
