There is non zero chance that next chapter would be the last one in flashback arc and we will be back to the current timeline.Kunishige and Chiaki romance was covered. Foundation for Akemura's current mindset got fully covered. Subaru who would be relevant for Enten reforging was also covered.Hiyuki who probably will be quite important now also was mentioned. Chiaki's death flashback could be easily postponed for Chihiro vs Akemura 2.0 for extra sad death of the villain backstory and Mikaboshi in fact are the thing of the past to waste too much space on them, so maybe they will get some brief flashbacks through current Akemura's memories. Girl bearer would be irrelevant for now and kept for later arcs. Also Hokazono probably won't like to straight up showcase most EB abilities during flashback. So there is that.
