Rea, likely thinking that Shien is pushing herself, goes to the window and Shien notices her watching her. Then... Shien looks up at her with squinty eyes? I'm not sure I understand the last part of this interaction. What is Shien's expression mean to convey?

The newest witch, gets her back story and arc, gets resolved, then she'll work for Shien in someway. Store is booming now, but Shien feels overwhelm by it all, she gets her back story, gets resolved, then everyone gets their happy ever after. Tama's backstory happens somewhere around this time too, I guess.This is the domino effect I feel if Rea gets her powers back without strings attached, so I figure it's either coming to an end, or she wont get free use of her powers.

It seems to me backstories and getting over the passed events were the crux of this series. First was the introduction of Shien and Tama. Then Mode and her back story mini-arc. Then Rea, and it seems we're in the midst of her back story arc. There's also the air of Shien having a very tragic back story, that gets teased here and there. The manga could go a direction that doesn't involve the characters getting over their past trauma, or it's aftermath, but I feel that'll lead to a new story or series. Or maybe this whole thing could be a huge Witch Backstory arc.

If she was always a bad speaker to people, then yeah, I'd agree, but if she became like that due to the events that happened during the witch hunt, then I'd consider that as still being part of the back story trauma.
