No cultural relevance, no popularcharacters besides Aizen (Pain/Orochimaru/Madara/Sasuke are infinitely well more known) and little fanfare for it's impending finale. What stopped Bleach from reaching it's potential? Or was it doomed from the beginning?

>>290787748Just watched all of bleach for the first time and it's just not that great. I have no nostalgia for one piece or nardo but they're just more compelling stories with better characters. Bleach isn't a story about anything, isn't particularly entertaining on a moment-to-moment basis, and I don't care about almost any of the characters.It also peaked at the very beginning and has basically no highs after soul society, while other series build to moments and have payoff. The best moment is when Ishida fights Kurotsuchi which is like 5% into the series.
