Damn. Love Black Bullet. Sentai had it on sale for $5 but looks like its sold out now. Its how I got into the show. Honestly the first 4 eps are perfect. You could bundle them into a movie and i wouldnt even need more Black Bullet. Its that good. Couldnt get past the part where he was taking sniper rounds and seemingly sleeping them off to go fight again the next day.I was doing some research about the author. I did come across that tidbit about him working at a family restraunt but couldnt find anything solid. I did read an old interview where he said he liked to write and get ideas by spending hours sitting at a family restraunt and people watching. Maybe this got somehow conflated into him working at a restraunt?

>>290812420Nothing necessarily wrong. For reference, the anime only really adapted like maybe 2/3rds of the novels. And even then they were kind of rushed. They pretty much just covered all the major story beats involving the main couple, but kind of just outright ignored or cut out the parts of the series that focused more on the other characters and fleshing out the world. Also, some filler stuff were put in.That's why in the final season which adapted the big culmination of everything in the LNs, animeonlies are dumped with a massive shitton of characters they don't fucking know. And even then, the anime just kind of speedruns their role since evidently, animeonlies has no attachment to them.In terms of the Shana-Yuuji relationship, they did a decent enough job of getting the important parts across. But it's not exactly the ideal package of representing what the novels are.
