So a couple of weekends ago I actually went to a 3D in irl life HIMAWARI field bros
It was alot of fun and the sunflowers were so pretty
At first we were dissapointed because we thought we'd missed it as these were the first set we came across, but it turns out the farmers here planted 8 different plots and staggered them so they would bloom at different times and these were the first of the year from around july

This is one of my favorites
The weather was surprisingly perfect for the photos. It had just rained before we got there but we managed to get a good hour or two of proper sunlight. It was cloudy though, which ended up looking nice for pictures, but occasionally ominous. In my opinion sunflowers look the best with a bright blue cloudless sky

I lightly edited the photos with some basic filters for variety and most got the standard treatment. Protip - increase contrast, brighten highlights, darken shadows - this is basically a foolproof way to make any picture you've taken with your phone look better every time. Unless you get into DSLR type photography and actually edit your photos with great attention to detail, you don't need more than that simple trick basically

But what I love is that these himawaris look good no matter what kind of editing or filter you put on them. High vibrance? Beautiful. Washed out and faded? Beautiful. Greyscale? Beautiful. They're just such good flowers man.

I had a ton of fun and definitely recommended himawari fields as an outing bros. It's almost definitely too late in the year for any of them to still be around, but consider it next year when you rewatch grow up show
