women are not as scary as men
>>

Villains aren't supposed to be scary, they're supposed to be hot.
>>
Because we are supposed to root against them yet they still have to be a credibly written female antagonist..

What's there to lurk about? Female MAIN villains ARE rare. Not just in weeb media, but also in movies, comics, cartoons, etc. Female villains exists but they're mainly right hands/henchmen
>>
>>290831168
Much harder to take seriously. A male villain is frequently allowed to just be terrifying, brilliant, or monstrous. At best, female villains work as the big bad's right hand but rarely ever as the actual big bad

A henchman would get tired of their shit and rape them.

If Beryl is any indication, it's because they inevitably give them some lame motivation centered around romance with a man anyway, like "I'm bitter because Endymion wouldn't fuck me," and that's not actually fun or interesting to watch but just pathetic. (I say this as a woman myself)

And yeah there are obviously also male villains who are incels/cuckolds/etc. but that's not the majority. I'm not actually saying "this is why female villains shouldn't exist," but that I'd want to see more female villains not written like Beryl.

Beryl sucks

Beryl's inspiration, Sister Jill, wasn't evil because she was heartbroken by a man. She just liked to to do evil things

Can you take a villain seriously if she can lose to the cock?

Same as real life: no high ambitions beyond their immediate comfort

Too easily defeated by cock
Can't beat the cock

>Why are female main villains so rare?
They really aren't

because you only consume media for little boys
>>
>>290831168
In real life men do more physical violence by a lot and power play via diplomacy and manipulation is harder to write than "big powerful guy kills them all"

Women can be villains but most fantasy is still very based on reality with some extra pasas on top
>>
>>290839269
Compare the amount of female heroes to female last bosses and then hang your head in shame for your wrong analysis.
>>
>>290831168
They're not.
>>
>>290831168
because the role of stories is to escape reality.
>>
>>290840629
What are you even trying to say? There are far more female heroes than there are female final bosses because it's easier to portray a woman in a heroic light than making her a villain

One of the two highlights in this shitshow, although she should have been given enough time to kill off Towa's gang one by one in the second half of the season.
