I remember listening to the commentaries on FMA blu rays and he was the dub director and he talked about how they worked extra hard to make the show fit the Japanese script as much as they could and trying to cast the right voices and it shows when you watch it because it sounds so much better than most dubbed anime. He really cared about the shit he worked on.
