Overall it was decent. The main villain reveal & motivation was kinda meh. I kinda liked the ending since it ended on a hopeful note.

The ending was shit. I mean, obviously the final boss was going to be AI but did it have to be alien AI? And the time travel stuff was so fucking out of place, not to mention that if they ever pull it off they would be endangering Kohaku, Chrom, Suika, Kaseki and the rest existences. It´s hard to think that ending belongs to the same show that was taking science "somewhat seriously" and that proudly declared it would use it to defeat fantasy.

Overall it's bittersweet. The last part of the last season felt rushed, but I'm glad I was able to finish it since I stopped watching anime for some time due to real life shit. I stopped at S2 when it was airing in real time & had a marathon from S3 the past few days.
Earlier seasons had alot of twists that derailed the plot (which I loved), and S4 just... paved through everything, so the excitement kinda died. I also liked how Dr. Stone, despite being a genius, is still portrayed as a normal person & doesn't have a broken plot armor. Great humour, and even if you're not a science lover, it's great to hear them babble about it. It's not a perfect anime but it's just right IMO.
