The original jump rookie version had only gotten around to the goblin girl being kicked out of the house. Hard to say whether this is an intentional conclusion or not.
Probaby axed but I think it's a good length for the kind of series it was. There's only so many stories you can tell where the message is "well that's just life, man" before it gets stale. I hope his two coworkers from the izakaya get together.

Life Man would advise us to move on and engage with more things in our lives. no matter how we look at it, with how many books, manga, comics exist in the world, we couldn't read them all in a lifetime anyway. so don't weep that Life Man ended, smile because it happened, and move on to read something next, who knows what we will discover!
